About Us

The Portage County Land Reutilization Corporation, known as the Portage County Land Bank (PCLB), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to return underutilized land and property to productive use.

What We Do

The Portage County Land Bank was created in 2012 by the Portage County Board of Commissioners in response to the 2008 housing crisis. The mission of the Land Bank is to facilitate the conversion of vacant, blighted, abandoned, and tax delinquent properties to productive use for the benefit of our community.

Through a multi-pronged approach to redevelopment, community investment, and neighborhood improvement, the Land Bank works to enhance quality of life, strengthen neighborhoods, and support long-term economic vitality across Portage County.
